AIG Retirement Re-Set
Last year we launched the Retirement Re-Set Study, the first major study of its kind to specifically assess the impact of the recession on America’s mindset, lifestyle expectations and financial planning for retirement. One year later, the markets have gained; but unemployment, market volatility and economic uncertainties persist.
The AIG Retirement Re-Set Study is a nationwide survey of Americans age 55 and older that examines how, one year later, retirement mindsets are unfolding. Developed in collaboration with AgeWave and conducted by Harris Interactive, the study found that Americans continue to show great resilience amidst the uncertainty, focusing on more responsible retirement planning, less risky investments and delayed retirement.
